This is a strange set of 4 chairs, found in switzerland, very probably early fiftie's, in sycomore plywood on chromed steel base. Could be from H. Bellmann (?)... but their line/shape, incline & proportions are very similar to PK1 from P. kjaerholm... (?)...
This uncommun easy chair was designed by Hans Bellmann for Strässle in Switzerland during the early 50's. It consist in lacquered metal with an original grey fabric upholstery & a black wool cushion. dim: 89 x 50 x 44 cm. (35 x 19.7 x 17.3 in.)
